An entry on the TFT Practitioner Listings administered and
maintained by the British Thought Field Therapy
Association is available to those who:
-
have completed a training course in Thought Field
Therapy approved by The Callahan Techniques®
Ltd.
This would include full training at
Algorithm, Diagnostic, Optimal Health and Voice Technology
levels, but exclude Introductory or Continuing
Professional Development courses.
-
have been in qualified therapeutic practice for at
least one year.
Definition of Qualified Practice:
Any
discipline where the therapist has been formally trained
in appropriate professional standards concerning the
proper care and treatment of clients who may be
emotionally vulnerable. Thought Field Therapy
training alone does not meet those standards. See
your TFT training manual or e-mail
admin@btfta.org for further information.
-
have current Professional Indemnity Insurance and
undertake to maintain that insurance cover as long as
they remain in practice.
In
addition,
to
place
your listing on the site you must also agree that
Callahan Techniques® Thought
Field Therapy will be your primary choice in the
treatment of psychological / emotional problems for those
members of the public reading your listing and making
contact.
In doing
so, the client will expect to be given information about
and / or treatment with Callahan Techniques TFT.
This must be the case. Information about or
promotion of other therapies you practice, training
courses or other business involvement, although it is
acceptable for them to be identified by name only in your
listing, should not form part of this unless
specifically requested
by the enquirer at that time.
If, on consultation
with the client, your clinical judgement indicates that
the use of TFT would give an improved outcome in
conjunction with another therapeutic approach, or would be
inappropriate to use, you must fully inform the client of
this requirement and obtain their consent for the change.
The British Thought Field
Therapy Association reserves the right to:
-
edit your listing to
conform with current legislation including, but not
restricted to, the Consumer Protection from Unfair
Trading Regulations 2008 and The Medical Acts (1953 &
1983), and the requirements of the Advertising Standards
Authority.
-
correct inaccuracies in
descriptions of Thought Field Therapy or claims of
effectiveness.
-
correct errors in
spelling, grammar, punctuation and English usage.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Your listing will be
removed immediately if any of the above conditions
are broken, or if any action or inaction on your
part brings or may bring the practice of Callahan
Techniques® Thought Field Therapy into
disrepute. |
